Extramurals
Extramurals are sports that contested between different educational institutions. This contrasts with intramural sports which are contested internally by participants of the same institution. The purpose of DMACC Extramurals is to:
- promote recreational sports on our college campus
- provide extramural competition and social interaction between the schools
- and cultivate the habits of good sportsmanship while providing opportunities for top-level competition.

- Basketball – University of Northern Iowa – Date and Time TBD
- Flag Football – University of Iowa – 10/17/26 Time TBD
- Volleyball – Drake University – 11/07/26 Time TBD
Note: ISU will host something but that hasn’t been decided yet. At some point we will host something as well.
These tournaments DMACC students will need to have their own teams, play in the DMACC Intramural league and register their team on IMLeagues.com.
