- The Gilman Scholarship Program offers awards for undergraduate study abroad. This scholarship provides awards for U.S. undergraduate students who are receiving Federal Pell Grant funding at a two-year or four-year college or university to participate in study abroad programs worldwide.
DMACC Scholarships Available for Study Abroad:
West Campus Scholarship: $1,000 is available to all West campus students interested in the London Study Abroad Program. This scholarship will be given based on merit and financial need. A face-to-face interview with the applicants might be scheduled to identify the best candidate. The recipient of the scholarship will be expected to deliver a presentation about his or her stay in London to West Campus.
Ankeny Campus Scholarship: $1,000 scholarships available to all Ankeny campus students interested in the London Study Abroad Program. This scholarship will be given based on merit and financial need. A face-to-face interview with the applicants might be scheduled to identify the best candidate. The recipient of the scholarship will deliver a presentation about his or her stay in London in the Fall semester.
Carroll Campus Scholarship: $1,000 Available to all Carroll campus students interested in the London Study Abroad Program. This scholarship will be given based on merit and financial need. A face-to-face interview with the applicants might be scheduled to identify the best candidate. The recipient of the scholarship will deliver a presentation about his or her stay in London in the Fall semester.
Urban Campus Scholarship: $1,000 Available to all Urban students interested in London Study Abroad. The scholarship is given based on merit and financial situation. The final decision is made following a face-to-face interview with an applicant. The recipient of the scholarship will deliver a presentation about his or her stay in London in the Fall semester.
Newton Campus Scholarship: $1000 Available to all Newton campus students interested in London Study Abroad. The scholarship is given based on merit and financial situation. A face-to-face interview with the applicants might be scheduled to identify the best candidate. The recipient of the scholarship will deliver a presentation about his or her stay in London in the Fall semester.
Boone Campus Foundation Scholarship: $1,000 Available to all Boone campus students interested in London Study Abroad. The scholarship is given based on merit and financial situation. A face-to-face interview with the applicants might be scheduled to identify the best candidate. The recipient of the scholarship will deliver a presentation about his or her stay in London in the Fall semester.
