For small businesses owners who may have missed the application period to join Cohort 12 in Iowa, the state’s Spring cohort will begin in Feb. 2025 and applications are being accepted now through Nov 1.
The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses (10KSB) program today announced the start of its 12th Cohort in Iowa, with 32 small business owners from across the state coming together to grow their skills and gain the tools they need to take their business to the next level.
The 10,000 Small Businesses program, which is administered by Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) in Iowa, is offered at no cost to small business owners who apply and are selected to participate. The program has helped 309 Iowa entrepreneurs drive economic growth and create jobs in their local communities since the program launched in Iowa in 2019. Cohort 12 will be in session through December, and graduates will join an alumni network of more than 14,500 small businesses nationwide.

The 10,000 Small Businesses program addresses the most significant challenges faced by small businesses by providing practical business education, access to capital and support services. Through the comprehensive program, small business owners have the opportunity to gain practical skills and work one-on-one with a dedicated Business Advisor to develop an individual growth plan for their business.
