The purpose of this online certificate program is to provide essential education and training for individuals who are either new to or currently working in the Direct Support Professional (DSP) field.

Working with people with disabilities involves providing support, advocacy, and empowerment to help individuals lead fulfilling, independent, and inclusive lives. This work can include assisting with daily living activities, facilitating communication, promoting social and community engagement, supporting educational or employment goals, and ensuring access to necessary services and accommodations.
