The Renewable Energy program provides students conceptual and hands-on training in technology and practices used in the growing fields of mechanical operations and maintenance, wind turbine technology, electrical, electronic and renewable energy. This program is designed to prepare technicians with the skills to support, explain, and troubleshoot a wide variety of mechanical/electrical projects.

The courses in this program are offered in a Competency-Based Education (CBE) format. CBE is an approach to learning that focuses on mastering specific skills or "competencies" at your own pace.
