Hey DMACC Bears, are you getting excited for the new semester?
Well, we are!
To celebrate a new academic year, all DMACC employees will gather Monday morning, August 24th, for the first All-College Kick-Off event.
While we prepare to welcome you ahead of Fall 2026 semester, please note that all DMACC campuses, centers, and offices will be temporarily closed during this time.
Students and families are encouraged to complete any time-sensitive business, whenever possible, before August 24.
DMACC offices will reopen after 11:30 a.m. August 24th, and services will resume as scheduled.
We appreciate your patience and look forward to helping you start a successful semester!
What to do while you wait
Have you arrived at a DMACC campus during this time to find the doors are locked? Not to worry, here are a few options to consider while you wait:
- Grab breakfast, coffee, or brunch nearby
- Complete online tasks:
- Check your class schedule
- Review financial aid information
- Access your student portal via myDMACC
- Explore campus maps
- Review bookstore information and required course materials
- Explore library resources
Take time to familiarize yourself with:
- Parking locations
- Building entrances
In light of this closure the day before the new semester begins, additional student support and services hours will be available leading up to the start of classes. Stay tuned for more information.
