Silage harvested on August 27th and we will plant cover crop with a drone on the 28th with the help of current students! The corn staged at the half milk stage...perfect for silage. The yield was average 30 tons per acre and as you can see, 16 kernel round and 34 kernel long consistently throughout the field! Thanks to Wyffels as we wrap up this year's crop camera!

Thanks to Wyffels Hybrids for sponsoring the corn plot. Happy 4th of July and to 15 years of the Big Show crop cam at DMACC

Shoulder high by the 4th of July. We will see silk and tassels soon.
