Borgen Square Apartments - Boone

DMACC Boone Campus offers apartment living located directly across the street. It provides a great opportunity to meet new friends while attending DMACC. There are five unfurnished apartment complexes, each containing:

  • Four private bedrooms & two baths
  • Common living room
  • Full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher
  • Washer & dryer in each unit
  • Rent includes all utilities, cable TV, and wireless internet
  • Honors student housing with honors classroom, quiet study area, and student lounge

Hope Hall - Carroll

DMACC's Carroll Campus offers affordable housing for students. Hope Hall, a co-ed housing unit, is completely remodeled and located at New Hope (approximately 1 mile from campus) and has the following amenities:  

  • 16 Private bedrooms (each person will share a bathroom with one other person)
  • Lounge with study area, large screen TV, and fireplace
  • Full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher
  • Washers and dryers in each wing
  • Rent includes all utilities, cable TV, laundry and wireless internet.

Housing Options for Ankeny Campus​

 

​​​​​​DMACC does not own or operate housing for Ankeny Campus. However, many housing options exist if you want to live near campus. Here are just a few:

Campus View Apartments

Campus View is the only DMACC affiliated Student Housing property and is located on the Northwest part of the DMACC Ankeny campus. Campus View offers DMACC students fully furnished apartments (living room and bedroom) with private and shared bedroom and bathroom options, roommate matching, individual leases with terms based on the academic calendar, and resident assistance. Rent includes all utilities, cable and wireless internet. The apartments include a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, and ample storage. Campus View also offers a number of amenities including: monthly social events, lifestyle center, fitness center, theater room, quiet study rooms, game rooms, courtyard with grilling areas.

Campus Town Apartments

Campus Town is the Premier Student Housing property located right across the street to the south of DMACC Ankeny campus. Campus Town offers private and shared bedroom and bathroom options with lease terms based on the academic calendar and roommate matching. Campus Town has fully furnished apartments (living room and bedroom) with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, electronic locks, video surveillance, balconies and full-size washer and dryer. Rent includes all utilities, cable, and internet. Amenities include: scenic rooftop terrace, café lounge, 3,000-square-foot state-of-the-art fitness club, indoor basketball court/gymnasium, study area, movie theatre room, game room, and social & community events.

Prairie Pointe

Located next to the DMACC Ankeny campus, privately owned and operated by Haverkamp Properties. Inc., Prairie Pointe is just a short walk away from class. These 3 & 4 bedroom apartments feature private bedrooms, private bathrooms, furnished living rooms, and in-unit laundry. Kitchen includes two refrigerators, dishwasher and large pantry closet for ample storage. The clubhouse hangout includes a coffee bar, theater room, tanning booth, and fitness center-all included in your monthly rent. Rent includes all utilities and 1 Gig​ internet in each bedroom

Housing Options for Ames Hunziker Center

DMACC does not own or operate housing for Ames Hunziker Center. However, many housing options exist if you want to live near campus, including:

The Madison Ames

Located at 4912 Mortensen Road in Ames, this housing option offers fully furnished three and four-bedroom apartments, 24-hour fitness center, clubhouse, and pool. The Madison is leased individually, so you are only responsible for yourself. It is only a 10-minute drive from the Hunziker Center and conveniently located on the CyRide bus route which can take you straight to campus if needed.
