Career Fairs

Important Career Fair/Handshake Note

Many (but not all) of DMACC’s career fairs this year are being managed through Handshake, our free online career services management platform. Students, grads, and employers wishing to register for any of the events on Handshake need to create free user accounts. Please follow the instructions below to create your account:

  • Students - Start here: Enter your DMACC email address, then follow the instructions to verify your email and fill out your profile
  • Grads - Start here: Enter your personal email address, then follow the instructions to verify your email and fill out your profile
  • Employers - Start here: for instructions on how to create an account, connect to or create a company profile, connect to schools, and get started on the site; once you have created your account, you will be able to visit the event website to register.



2023-2024 Career Fairs

Career fairs have concluded for the 2023-2024 school year and we are in the process of scheduling events for the 2024-2025 school year. Career fair details will be posted to this site over the summer. Employers interested in receiving email updates about our fairs are invited to email DMACC Career Services at careers@dmacc.edu to request to be added to our events contact list. Other DMACC Career Fairs

  • The Evelyn K. Davis Center in downtown Des Moines hosts career fairs throughout the year. Contact Maria Tonui at mktonui@dmacc.edu for more information.
  • The DMACC West Campus in West Des Moines typically hosts a career fair in early April. Contact Dr. Jill Friestad-Tate at jmfriestadtate@dmacc.edu for more information.
