Transfer Series

DMACC helps you to connect with four-year colleges and universities through hosting visit days on our campus. Participate in a visit day to learn more about academic programs, student life, housing, admissions processes, financial aid, scholarships, and more!

Transfer 101 Workshops

These workshops help students learn about the transfer process, stay on track, and make the important decisions needed to ensure a smooth transfer.  Workshops include information regarding financing a four-year degree to selecting your next institution and the application process.

Transfer Fair

During the Fall & Spring semester, DMACC hosts a Transfer Fair to help you explore a variety of both in-state and out-of-state four-year institutions!

Iowa State University - Latino/a Family Visit Day

Latino Family Visit Days The Latino/a Family Visit Day is an event hosted by The Iowa State Chapter of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity Inc. in collaboration with the Office of Admissions. This day is designed to give students and their families a chance to learn about the opportunities and services available to our Latino/a students. Throughout the visit day, participants will be able to learn about different student organizations and resources on campus, explore the campus, meet with staff, and hear from current students about their experiences as a Latino/a student on campus. Iowa State University - Multicultural Student Experience Day

Take part in an exciting opportunity to experience a day in the life of a student on our campus! This day is designed to give you and your family a chance to learn about the opportunities and services available to ISU's multicultural students. The day will include information about scholarships, student organizations, internships, and the admission process. Additionally, students and families will have the opportunity to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on site. Hear from dynamic faculty, dedicated staff, and current students; the Multicultural Student Experience Day will ensure your visit to campus is exciting and informative.
