How to Reach Us

Due to the continued health concerns surrounding the spread of the Coronavirus, tutoring is open but is not assisting students on a walk-in basis.  While you won't be able to visit us in person during this time, academic support/tutoring for students is now available remotely in two ways.

DMACC Online Tutoring (DOT) Work with faculty though an online platform called Collaborate. This works best using Google Chrome.
 
DMACC Tutoring through Email (DTE) Work with faculty to answer questions through email.

Tutoring is a support service available to all DMACC students. The Tutoring Department employs peer tutors to assist students with difficult courses. Knowledgeable tutors can assist students by reviewing the course material, answering questions, and reviewing for exams. When combined with other support services offered through the Academic Achievement Center, tutoring becomes a powerful ally in learning difficult course material.

Tutoring information:

  • Students may use the tutoring services at no charge.
  • Tutoring may be scheduled individually or with a group.
  • Students may request tutoring at anytime throughout the semester.

Employment opportunities:

  • The Tutoring Department hires students as peer tutors. Come work in a fun, flexible environment and earn extra money while on campus.
