Students learn the basics of audio recording on set, outdoors and in a recording studio, using state-of-the-art sound equipment, audio techniques for capturing the best sound quality, editing dialogue, sound effects and music, repairing, cleaning and mixing audio in conjunction with video, and multi-track sound design for standard stereo and 5.1 surround sound output.
