Transcript Requests

​​DMACC will send or issue a transcript when students, or former students, request it.

Transcripts can be requested by logging into the myDMACC Student area, clicking on the Web Info System button, and selecting "Request Printed/Official Transcript" from the expanded menu. 

Transcripts can also be requested by downloading the Transcript Request Form [PDF] and mailing, faxing or emailing it to the DMACC Transcript Department. The Transcript Request form must be filled out completely, or it will not be processed. Additionally, your signature is required to release transcripts. DMACC does not accept an electronic signature.

A letter requesting a transcript will​ also be honored. Transcript requests should include the student's name, Social Security number or D​MACC ID number, telephone number, dates of attendance, the address to where the transcript should be mailed, and the student's signature.

Except during peak periods, transcripts are sent within three to four working days after the receipt of the request. Transcript requests are processed in the order they are received. There is no fee for transcripts unless special services are requested.

In order for the transcript to be official, it must be sent directly to the receiving institution. Copies of transcripts issued to students are considered unofficial. Students may view an unofficial copy of their academic record on the myDMACC Student area, clicking on the Web info System button, and selecting "View Transcript" from the expanded menu.  

Transcripts will not be issued or available for viewing for students who have an unpaid financial obligation to DMACC.

Toward the end of each semester, watch for important End of Term Information in the Announcements section of the myDMACC homeapge. (This section will provide information on when transcripts for the most recent semester are available.)

DMACC students can print and view their grades accessing the myAcademics tab in the myDMACC Student area.

  1. View your grades in the myGrades area on this page
  2. To print your grades, select the Web Info System button on this page and choose "View Final Grades" fom the expanded menu.
  3. To view your Transcript or Request Transcript, select the Web info System button on this page and choose either "View Transcripts" or "Request Printed/Official Transcript" from the expanded menu.

How do I request my HiSET or GED transcript?

Go to www.diplomasender.com or call 1-855-313-5799.

Can I get my transcript the day class ends?

No. Instructors have several days to electronically submit their grades to the Registrar's Office for processing. Transcripts are held for current session grades if specified on the student transcript request form and are mailed approximately two weeks after the end of term.

When should I order my transcript?

If you are graduating from the most recent term and would like your degree on your transcript, please wait 3-4 business days after grades have been posted to request your transcript. To verify your degree has been awarded please view your unofficial transcript.

If you would like grades from the most recent term on your transcript please verify that grades have been posted before requesting it.

How long does it take a transcript to be processed?

When a student formally requests a transcript, the transcript is mailed out within 3 to 4 business days if the student's account is current. Transcripts will not be released until delinquent accounts have been paid.

How much does a Transcript cost?

Transcripts are mailed free of charge. There is a $5 charge for faxing, which is completed within 24 business hours. Faxed transcripts are considered unofficial. Same day service is also $5 and is processed within 24 business hours.

Can I get a transcript if I have a hold on my account?

Transcripts will not be released until delinquent accounts have been paid.

How long will it take for a transcript to reach another institution?

After you have requested your transcript from DMACC and it has been processed, it will be mailed. Mailing times vary, depending on their destination. Please note that transcript intake processing times at receiving institutions may cause delays. The institution may have received the transcript, but not yet processed it. Please allow a couple weeks for this process to be completed. For efficiency, please contact the receiving institution first.

How do I request an official transcript sent to me?

Official transcript requests are mailed directly to an institute, agency or employer. Official transcripts are NOT issued to a student. Transcripts that are mailed or picked up by students are stamped with the words "Issued to student."

Does my transcript have the DMACC seal?

DMACC College credit transcripts are printed on security paper that does not require a raised seal to be official.

Why does my transcript say "In Progress"?

A class is still in session and has not yet ended, or the instructor has not yet assigned a grade.
