The Water Environmental Technology program is based at the Ankeny Campus. Some classes are held at water and wastewater facilities throughout central Iowa. As with other DMACC courses, credits from this program can be transferred to four-year universities.

The Water Environmental Technology program includes the following options:

DMACC also offers Apprenticeship Certificates for current employees of Des Moines Water Works and Wastewater Reclamation Facility.

This program is supported by local water and wastewater associations, Iowa Department of Natural Resources, and other organizations.
