​DMACC is offering an Introduction to African-American Literature non-credit class this fall semester. During this course, you will examine African-American and Black literature and poetry from pre-1865 until the Post-Modern era. You will explore how essays, novels, poetry, screenplays and music reflected the African-American experience.
This class meets on Thursdays from 6 to 9 p.m. beginning September 12 and running through October 31. The course, LITR701 100, CRN 15365, will be held in Bldg. #1, Room 116 on the DMACC Urban Campus. The cost is $99 and is taught by Urban Campus Associate Provost Albert Farr.
