The Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) Urban Campus will host its third Annual African Family Night from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 28 in Bldg. #1, Rooms 124/126 on the Urban Campus, 1100 7th St., Des Moines. Registration and a light meal will start at 6 p.m. The program starts at 6:30 p.m.
On this night you will hear from African students about their experiences at DMACC and get valuable tips from them on how to be successful in college. You and your family will receive information regarding registration, scholarships, financial aid and English as a Second Language and HiSET (high school equivalency program) programming.
