DMACC Counseling Department

How to Reach Us

Counselors are available to assist students by appointment. We offer services face-to-face or remotely via Zoom or phone.

If you desire to be seen face-to-face, please note you may be required to wear a mask while in a private office with your counselor. If you are uncomfortable or unable to wear a mask, please let your counselor know before your appointment so alternative arrangements can be made (i.e. securing a larger private meeting space to allow social distancing or meeting remotely via Zoom).

Find your campus/center on the page menu to make an appointment with your counselor.

Counseling vs. Advising

You should see an advisor instead of a counselor if you need help with:

  • Course planning, recommendation and selection
  • Checking your progress towards graduation
  • Transferring to another school
