The Mental Health Conference is designed for professionals, clinicians, administrators, educators, consumers, family members, advocates and other providers. 

  • Provide an educational opportunity to hear professionals and experts share the most recent trends and issues, treatment methods, and research relating to mental health, mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
  • Provide a forum to stimulate discussion, exchange ideas, and strengthen the support and information network around the state.
  • Generate public interest in issues relating to mental health and co-occurring disorders. Registration is from 7:30-8:25 ​a.m. Opening remarks will start at 8:25 a.m. 

 

 

 
We are pleased to have the opportunity to offer conference stipends for individuals living with a mental illness or family members of individuals living with a mental illness, funded through the federal Mental Health Block Grant. You may send your completed Stipend and Registration Form​ to jawhitson@dmacc.edu.

You are invited to share information about your agency’s services and products to a state and region-wide health care audience at the 2018 Mental Health Conference. Participants of this conference will include: mental health professionals and counselors, social workers, physicians, pharmacists, nurses, nursing home administrators, substance abuse counselors, family members, consumers, group home workers, corrections professionals, health care providers, military, and those in recovery. 
 
Exhibits will be set up in Iowa Ballrooms BCDE and main conference foyer. This is a perfect opportunity to showcase your projects and products. The Exhibitor Agreement form and fee must be completed online​.​​
