DMACC Adult High School Diploma Program

A person who is at least 17 years of age and is not currently enrolled in high school may work toward a DMACC Adult High School Diploma.

The prospective student must submit a complete transcript to the High School Completion Center on the Ankeny campus, or the Academic Achievement Centers on the other campuses for evaluation. The requirements of the Adult High School Diploma are:

English 6 semester credits
Math 3 semester credits
Science 2 semester credits
US History 2 semester credits
Am Gov't 1 semester credits
Electives 18 semester credits
Total 32 semester credits

A student must complete at least two (2) courses through DMACC. A student who needs more than 10 credits to earn a DMACC Adult High School Diploma is strongly urged to stay in school, or consider a GED diploma.
