Teaching for the Workforce: Story County
Dates: June 14 - 17, 2021
This interactive and engaging 4-day course allows K-12 educators, counselors, and administrators to experience today’s real STEM workplaces and build an understanding of essential concepts for workplace success. Each day includes tours and panels with regional companies, as well as hands-on experiences and engaging discussions with education and industry experts on how to help our students be more “future ready.” This class will meet face-to-face at the Ames Chamber Office, with masks and social distancing protocols. This will allow for teacher to teacher interaction. However the business tours and some panels will be brought to us live via Zoom. Upon completion, educators will receive 2 license renewal credits though Heartland AEA, if desired.
Teaching for the Workforce: Story County Conference Fees
Course + 2 License Renewal Credits = $70
