How To Reach Us
For the health and safety of our students, faculty, and staff, DMACC has temporarily closed all campuses in response to the ongoing COVID-19 public health crisis. Please see below for details about Career Center services during this campus closure period:
During the temporary closure of DMACC campuses, Sara Clayton, Career Center Coordinator, will be working remotely from her home and will be the sole Career Center staff member available to “meet” with students/alums by phone/Skype. This unfortunately means that Kara Donovan, Career Center Advisor, will not be taking appointments or responding to messages. The best way to contact Sara during DMACC’s closure is via email:
Hours of Operation:
Sara Clayton will be available remotely during regular business hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Messages received outside of these hours will be responded to as soon as possible the next business day.
Student & Alumni Services:
All Career Center services will continue to be available by appointment only, either over the phone or on Skype, instead of face-to-face. Our services include:
- Career assessments and career coaching
- Job and internship search assistance
- Resume and cover letter writing assistance
- Mock interviews
Student & Alumni Appointments:
Students and alumni can make phone or Skype video appointments with Sara Clayton at
https://calendly.com/snclayton. If you don’t see a date/time that will work well with your schedule, please contact Sara at
firstname.lastname@example.org with your preferred appointment date/time. Bobby Nalean, a Student Development colleague, is available to provide limited appointment assistance to the Career Center during DMACC’s closure and may be able to accommodate your preferred meeting time.
Note: Students and alumni who scheduled appointments with Sara/Kara prior to DMACC’s closure will be contacted by email on March 18th with information regarding
converting those appointments to phone or Skype. Your original appointment date/time
will be honored – you do not need to reschedule or cancel your appointment if you don’t want to.
are welcome to contact Sara Clayton at email@example.com.
