Student Health Insurance Guide
A registered nurse is located on the Ankeny Campus in Building 24, Room 103. Office hours for the nurse are Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is available during the fall/spring and summer semesters- student contact hours (when the students are on Campus) for currently enrolled DMACC students. The Nurse Practitioner office hours are currently Tuesdays, 8am-4pm and Wednesdays 8am-Noon at the Ankeny Campus Health Office. Appointments are mandatory to meet with Nurse Practitioner or Campus Health Nurse. Most NP services are at no cost. Some fees apply for services/immunizations-check the Campus Health website or contact/email Campus Health with questions/pricing inquiries. No insurance necessary. Insurance will not be billed by Campus Health for Campus Health visits.

Student Assistance Program
This program is available at NO COST to help students with problems involving school, family, relationships, work, substance use/abuse, etc. If you are faced with problems you don't want to deal with alone, call Compass Clinical Associates, PLLC at 515-412-5112, to arrange a confidential visit with a counselor. Students need to be a currently enrolled DMACC student and should mention that they are a current DMACC student during the initial phone call. They must also provide their DMACC Student ID Number during the initial phone call. Eligible students will receive up to 6 free counseling sessions.
